Here at Chapelton Board Sales Ltd we are pleased to announce that we have become a Carbon Neutral company thanks to the assistance of CarbonQuota, a company which specialises in calculating the carbon impact of manufacturing.

In what was an initial six-month process, we embarked on the journey to become a Carbon Neutral business, believing it will be of benefit to suppliers and customers alike. Chapelton has now joined the ranks of like-minded companies who want to help achieve the environmental goals that have been set by Government, retailers, and brand owners.

The decision to work with CarbonQuota to achieve this was easy as it is a respected company with experience in both the paper and print industry.

Our Managing Director, Neil Skelton, stated, “This is a tremendous move for Chapelton, achieving Carbon Neutral status will benefit our customers and suppliers, offering products which meet the needs of the environmentally conscious.

The carbon emissions that are being offset will go towards three CarbonQuota Portfolio projects.

Neil added the process has not yet meant the introduction of any new products, in time a large proportion of its material will be Carbon Neutral.
